You know what I can appreciate? Honesty and follow through. During my call, I was told $250 to tint my windows on my new Civic, any shade. I liked the price and went in to look at my options. I was again told $250 and offered an appointment the following day at 4pm. Awesome!The next day showed up at 3:55 and the bay door was already open waving me in. Both employees worked fast and well together. While I was there, the shop received a phone call in which the person was quoted $250 for their tint service as well. This review is for the Sun Stoppers Auto West 9300 South Tryon Street in Charlotte. I took my 2020 Supra in on a Friday to get a quote for my windows being tinted. The guys there took the time to explain the different tint shades plus the different film levels that reduce heat transfer. I went ahead and got the car done that afternoon and they did an excellent job. Everything turned out great and I will be taking my Jeep back for them to do the same window tinting.

The owners and the Technicians explained to me everything about the differents kind of heating protection as well the SC darkness law , allow cars to tint just the laterals and back windows ;but doesn't allow the windshield ,means it can't be tinted ,but Sun Stoppers offer me a clear product over 99.9% UV radiation protection like all their products and also heat protection.The pricing was slightly cheaper for a best product than average business offered, but something really important when you decided to sale your car ,is The longlife warranty is transferable to the new owner.I visited 5 others places and they are the only ones who that it.The average time for the job is no less than 3 hours depending on the size and number of windows of your vehicle.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am from Florida so I had dark tint on my car that I didn't realize would cause me to fail inspection yesterday. I called Sun Stoppers as a recommendation from the auto shop I was getting the inspection done at. Sun Stoppers got me in the next morning to remove the illegal tint. Justin was professional and said he could fit me in same day even though they were about to close. Their POS System was frozen and unable to process my cc. Stephanie the mngr said don't worry about payment. Got old brow replaced with new one, normally a $40 charge became ZERO $$. Justin was quick and did a great job. These guys are great. Just had the 4th vehicle done in the past 2 years. The quality install can't be beat, and the time to get it done is unbelievable. I called at 5:05 pm Thursday after they had closed and left a message. I immediately got texts back and confirmed I could drop of Friday morning for a full vehicle tint (front and rear windows, back window, panoramic sunroof). I got there at 9am. They called me at 10am and said it was ready. Holy cow! The quality was excellent. Any bubbles were gone the next day for a flawless install. I have had my vehicles, my wife's, and sons done with XPEL Prime XR ceramic. I highly recommend this. No problems after 2 years and a great heat reduction (last Jeep was dark blue). I had the windshields done with Prime XR Plus 70. Love the windshield tint. (South Carolina, no inspections.) Just enough to take the glare off but mostly it blocks a lot of heat. I couldn't do the windshield on the new Ram truck. They advised against it due to potential electronics damage from the wet install. I googled and confirmed many people had problems with this. They saved me a $1,700 electronics module on that. They also have a nice clean lobby with chairs,TV, and computer desk.I wouldn't use any shop other than Sun Stoppers in Matthews!

We had our new 2020 Toyota Prius with less than 200 miles on it tinted. Sun Stoppers did a great job and with the lifetime warranty I don’t have to worry about it really. We went with the highest price film for the most heat reduction possible. We saw today a small scratch on the windshield film but it’s not terrible and I know no one is perfect. They are quick and give good service for the price. I don’t want to do this myself and by the other reviews I think I chose the best place in the Concord area. My husband and I got our daughter a used car for her HS graduation and discovered that the back windshield was difficult to see through; like there was a haze over it. I was going to just expensively replace the glass for her safety when I was informed of was just a tint layer that had gone bad! I visited Charlotte and wanted to get my 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited tinted. I arrived on Wednesday, called around to several different Tinting Professionals until I reached Sun Stoppers On Clanton Road. They set me an appointment for the next day, I dropped it off at 9am and got it back about 2pm. The fellas that work there are very cool, professional, and excellent at the job that they do. They improved the appearance of my Sonata with the tint they applied. I had my windows tinted about a month ago and I had a great experience with the folks over at Sun Stoppers. When I got there I wasn't entirely sure how dark I wanted to tint my windows so they walked me through each level of darkness that they provide to show me exactly what I would be getting. It only took them about an hour (I wouldn't have minded staying longer due to their nice waiting room) and they had my whole car done. They reminded me of the precautions to take when getting windows tinted because it was my first time having it done. They also reminded me of the lifetime transferable warranty that comes with every tint which is great in itself. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Now about a month after getting the tint, the tint is still in perfect condition and couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering getting their windows tinted!

This is the second time I've had my Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quad tinted at sunstoppers. I had to get the tint taken off and then put back on. The guys at Sunstoppers are very customer service oriented, professional, and take pride not only in their work, but in the interactions they have with their customers. First time, I was in and out, top notch job! No issues. When i had to get it taking off, took less than 20 minutes. Had to wait a little to get it put back on, but that's the price you pay when you dont have an appointment. 😀 After 4 days, noticed there were dust and/or pollen particles in between the window and tint. Called sunstoppers up and they are going to fix the issue with not problem! Very customer friendly and want to satisfy. Once my car is taking care of, I plan to bring my sons car to get his front windows tinted! This was really a good experience. I just had my 2019 Dodge Ram tinted today. Already, I can really tell that the tint is a professional job. First off, they were able to get me in earlier than my appointment. The staff, Monica, Jason (I’m sooo sorry I forgot the other guys name!) but anyways, the down to earth friendliness, professionalism, time involved all far exceeded my expectations. Even after I had paid over the phone before seeing it (my choice because I wasn’t sure if I’d get there before they closed) Monica spent considerable time with me going over the details and personally inspecting the car inch by inch with me. The protection film requires a few days like window tint to “set in” to its final resting state and my car is a very dark indigo blue so like black, it shows everything. I was a little afraid about having it done because of this but honestly at first I couldn’t even tell it was on there which is exactly what you want, superior protection with invisibility. She had to point out where the seams were and the ones that were vaguely visible should get better within the next few days as it “sets in”. She demanded if any imperfections arose at all to call her and assured me it would be taken care of. Anyway, I’m very happy with the craftsmanship of the work, the whole experience from start to finish and the attention to every detail given from the staff from start to finish. The is the second car they’ve done for me and now I want to have the ceramic coating done but gonna have to wait until I get back from vacation. Thank you Monica, Jason and that “other” guy lol. 👍🏻😊😊😊

I highly recommend going here over the Concord location. Gil and Jeremy are very nice and appreciate their customers. I originally got my windows tinted at the Concord location, they did not do what I asked, then wanted to argue about my dissatisfaction and tell me about all the awards they've won. Concord was impossible to work with. After being yelled at and berated by the Concord store Manager and backed up by his wife for 2 days, the owner of all the Sun Stoppers, Thad, a real stand up guy, got me on the phone and remedied the situation in two minutes. I had to drive another 25 miles to the South Charlotte location, but it was worth every mile. Like I said, Gil and Jeremy are great Managers and they really want you to be satisfied with their product and their expertise. If you want your windows tinted or any body wrap protection, don't hesitate to go a little further and visit the South End Location. I know I will go back to them from now on. The photo of my drivers window is from Concord, that's supposed to be as dark as legally possible, 35%. They didn't even have 35% at the Concord location, and refused get it, then tried to tell me 45% was metering at near 35%, when it wasn't(I verified a 44% reading by 3 different, unaffiliated inspection stations, Concord said the 3 different meters were all measuring incorrectly, though they were within .6% of each other). Thank you, Thad, Gil and Jeremy for making things good! The three of you are fantastic.

This is my 2nd vehicle that I have gotten tinted through Sun Stoppers, 1st experience at the Matthews location. They were able to fit me into their schedule, the same day that I inquired about a quote. I was in/out within 45 minutes. They offer free wifi & they have a large screen TV in the waiting area with a charging deck & a couch with built-in recliners.I keep going to Sun Stoppers because of their lifetime warranty. You can't beat it! Even if you sell your vehicle, the warranty stays with the vehicle. If anything happens to the tint--they'll replace it for free.Let's talk about $$$$$. So I have a 4 door sedan and they quoted me at $250 (which is with a $50 discount, normally it's $300 for a 4 door car). I also added a strip to the windshield for an additional $30. So with tax and everything it was around $300.Sure, there's people that will advertise window tint on groupon or whatever for cheaper. But you get what you pay for when it comes to window tint. Their window tint is premium quality and YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE LIFETIME WARRANTY!!! Monica's customer service was spot-on and the guys who installed the window tint know exactly what they're doing. From now on, I will go to this Sun Stoppers location any time I need tint in the future.THANKS SUN STOPPERS OF MATTHEWS, YALL ARE AMAZING!!

They provide and install a quality product that lasts the lifetime of the vehicle, and they stand behind their product 100%!When I took my last car in, Ron (the owner) suggested that I tint the windshield, also. I was a bit hesitant, as I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to see well at night. My night vision isn’t the best, anyway, with glares, etc. Ron was so confident I would love it, that he made an offer I couldn’t refuse. If I tinted the windshield and hated it, he would remove the tint and refund my money. I had nothing to lose. I had it tinted and LOVED it!!! In fact, I could actually see more clearly, not just on sunny days, but on hazy rainy days and at night. My problem with glares actually improved significantly! I recently had to replace my windshield due to rock damage. When I got in my car with the new (not yet tinted) windshield, I realized what a BIG difference the tint had made and I immediately missed it. I couldn’t wait to get my car back over to Sun Stoppers Stoppers to tint my windshield again. Sun stoppers of Concord has done 3 cars for me in their highest quality hydrophobic XPEL paint protection. Charles does a supreme install job and will see any issues that need corrected before you do. He is very happy to correct any issue and he cleans the car before any job so it is be applied in the best possible environment. I’ve been very happy with the results and I consider myself a very picky customer. Charles and Jessica are also incredible with regards to customer service. They are top-notch, very professional, but very friendly, and make you feel like family and your vehicle is like their own. Also, you don’t need to have a Lamborghini or Ferrari to get their full attention. I have a Hyundai and Subaru and they have treated me and my vehicles as if I was their most important client. Lastly, I’m using them for my tint with their highest heat rejection. I know that job will be not only perfect but it it’s not they will work till it is. Took my 2015 Ford F150 extended cap in for window tinting. They did a great job and have great service. My only complaint is that I didn't have my tints done sooner! It's unbelievable how much of a difference the tints make. With 95-100 degree days and driving on the interstate, the AC settings went from max to min to keep the vehicle cool.Thank you Sun Stoppers!

Absolute professionals! Rob is a perfectionist for the install and super helpful for questions after the fact. The Xpel Ultimate Clear Bra is MAGIC and today paid for itself. After a run in with road debris from our wonderful I-77 construction, I thought I would have to at least have the film replaced. Called Rob and he talked to me about parking it in the sun and buffing it to see if the damage could be reduced. It wasn't reduced, it was eliminated. The film is a self-healing polymer and frankly just amazing. Without the film, I'd have been looking at repainting the entire front end which would cost much more than the film did.I could not be happier with Rob, Xpel or Suntstoppers!THANK YOU!BMGPS: No idea why it won't post the pics I wanted

West and his cohort were out about 2 weeks ago. The tinting has done exactly what they are supposed to do: make the house more comfortable and cut down the excess glare. This is the third house I have had tinted and I am extremely happy with Ron and Sunstoppers: courteous and professional. I know it is totally worth having the house tinted. Rob did a fantastic job on wrapping the front bumper, full hood, both fenders, side mirrors, the strip below the trunk gate with Expel. My first experience with Sunstoppers was for window tinting and paint protection for my new vehicle. I found the team (worked with owners Wes and Ron) to be extremely professional, competent and personable. The work was on-time, flawless and reasonably priced for a high-quality product and perfect installation.My second experience was yesterday when I was coming home from work and ran my new car into the side of my garage, scratching and transferring a significant amount of white exterior house paint onto my brand new black car's right front quarter panel and bumper. I freaked out and called Sunstoppers. They told me to come right in even though it was almost 6 in the evening. They dropped what they were doing and went right to work helping me out. Because I had the SunTek paint protection film on my car, they were able to apply some solution to a circular buffer and completely removed all of the paint and scratches.It looks brand new like it never happened. We all shook our heads that we should have been recording it because it really was incredible. The SunTek film definitely paid for itself with that so needless to say, I'm a huge fan of the paint protection and I couldn't recommend Sunstoppers quality and customer service highly enough. 5+ stars!!

Great experience with Sunstoppers charleston! My house has many windows and this summer seemed extra hot and sunny. I talked with my husband about having our windows tinted on the back of our house. I have to say that he was a little skeptical that tinting would not make a difference. After contacting Sunstoppers within a week they came by and gave an estimate and a few weeks later installed tinting on my windows, very professional. The day after our windows were tinted my husband said he couldn't believe the difference...the house was cooler and no more intense glare of the sun. Just had my new BRZ done and am very happy with their work. I got the highest quality tint that blocks heat and it works extremely well. Definitely worth the extra money. There is a waiting area with wifi and TV.As far as the contact issues some people have had, both times I called for a quote they gave it to me right then; no waiting for a callback. Very professional on the phone too. I did not use their web form so I can't speak to that.

Yesterday I bought a new Grand Cherokee and immediately went over to Sun Stoppers to schedule my paint protection film install. They did it this morning and did an amazing job. I recently purchased a new car and following the purchase of it, I brought the vehicle to Sun Stoppers of Mount Pleasant for paint protection application and window tinting. Following the service, I can wholeheartedly recommend Sun Stoppers and the team there, particularly Joey Jordan.When I was close to purchasing the car, I learned that window tinting and paint protection would be applied to the car upon arrival at port and in my opinion, the dealership was going to overcharge me for these services. I researched local vendors, found Sun Stoppers, and upon reading reviews and researching their costs, the decision to work with Sun Stoppers was quite simple.I met Joey at their office and he walked me through the procedures. He clearly explained the value in the paint protection application and then also helped me choose between the various tint levels available. To be honest, all of this information can be a bit overwhelming to a new car buyer, but Joey was completely patient, professional, and never overbearing. Upon scheduling the services, the job was done within a business day (super fast!), and the job was flawless. Joey reiterated that I should not hesitate to come back with any concerns or questions following the service. Ironically, I did come back within a week when my vehicle was lightly backed into – I’m so thankful for that paint protection! My car was completely unaffected and Joey removed the paint spot (from the other vehicle) on my front bumper. If I hadn’t had that paint protection, the damage would have been directly on my bumper.Again, I offer my highest recommendation to the team at Sun Stoppers – the team’s interactions with me and personas were simply stellar. Sun Stoppers is the only place I would take my car for window tinting and paint film protection. Their customer service and professionalism is beyond comparison. The office has a comfortable waiting area stocked with up to date magazines and large TV to pass the time while you wait. I have had 3 cars tinted and the front half of a new car wrapped with their paint protector film. I would recommend getting both installed on any new car you purchase but I would especially recommend the paint protection film. With all the construction on the highways in the low country rock chips are going to happen and the film saves you the worry of damaging your new paint!I recently ran into a parking space cement divider that was abnormally tall. Upon getting out to inspect the damage I was expecting the worse but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the film absorbed all the impact and left my lower bumper with very little paint damage. The film saved me the cost of repainting the entire bumper which is well worth the initial cost. Do yourself a favor and protect the paint on your car with the film. It will add resale value with a spotless finish and look brand new the entire time you own your car.

Excellent Service Sun Stoppers!! Before you applied the special film to our West-facing wall of windows our offices were unbearably warm even in the winter time. The folks who worked on the West side of the building were wearing bikinis while those with East-facing glass walls were bundled up in parkas and mittens. There was no way to regulate the heating/cooling in such a way as to make everyone comfortable. With the application of the reflective film, not only are the warmest offices at least 10-15 degrees cooler, but the film also gives those folks a modicum of privacy which they very much appreciate. I was impressed with Sun Stoppers professionalism, product knowledge and timely response to our service request and would highly recommend their services to others. Grade: A++

Had the front windows tinted on my Tacoma last week and am very happy with the quality of work. Rob's shop is very clean; he's got a few magazines and cable tv in the waiting area, I spent the 30 min in the garage chatting while he did his work. Rob explained all purchase options prior to sale as well recommended window maintenance/warranty once completed.Overall experience: friendly, courteous, professional and great value. When I was searching for an auto tint shop online for my Lexus, I found Rob at SunStopper in Stoughton has a many great reviews.So with some confidence, I called to make an appointment. It was smooth and easy process. Very responsive too when I left a message. He explained thoroughly twice (over the phone, at the shop) about the film choices, what to expect, how he is going to apply, price, etc. Very respectful, professional. As my daughter and myself waiting at the lobby, he provided free wifi, TV channels, collection of magazines, bottled waters - but most of all, we felt welcomed and comfortable.Without doubt, this is simply the best business place I experience! The Customer called and wanted a window Tint replaced on her car I said no problem bring it buy anytime. A week went by and she came in and I had 2 cars in the shop already and pulled her car in behind them fixed her window in 15 min. ahead of other customers waiting she had a young child and wanted to help her out. Her car was ready and when I ask how she was going to pay she pulled out an insurance card and a policy number on it for me to fax a bill to the insurance company. I have not talked to her ins. company at all. I do not know if they will pay me or not. I am the owner of Sun Stoppers Tinting and did not get paid at all... See what happens when you go out of your way to help people what nerve they have to bash me. I love my work and it shows.. Mike Burke
