XPEL Window Tinting Services in Southington, CT

WHAT MAKES SUN STOPPERS SOUTHINGTON SO DIFFERENT?

Sun Stoppers Southington is the number one choice for high quality window tinting. We want our customers to be fully educated before making an informed decision. We have display boards set up around the shop for our visual learners. For the customer that craves knowledge, we will walk them through the entire process, step-by-step. We will start with showing them the different films available, let them feel the difference of the ceramic films on the heat lamp, and then go over what to expect. We address all questions to make sure you understand the entire process. Depending upon the fullness of our schedule, it takes about 45 minutes to tint all the sides and back glass on a standard 4 door car. After your vehicle is complete, we make sure you understand how to care for your new window tint. We apply stickers as a reminder to not roll your windows down until the film has fully cured.

Who is Americo, Owner of Sun Stoppers Southington?

Ever since Americo was young his father and uncles have been into the car scene. Americo’s uncles had a detail business called Cruz’in Clean when he was in his early teens. Americo recalls seeing his uncles wearing matching embroidered jackets gold and burgundy were the colors of the business at that time. Watching his uncles in actin and gradually being taught how to properly detail a vehicle a passion was born. When in college Americo started Get In Detail to earn extra money when in college. Slowly Americo shared a 1 bay garage with a fellow enthusiast and eventually acquired his own shop space. With the help of his father and brother and team members, Get In Detail has grown and now offers its services in a 2500 sq ft facility.

How does tinting help protect you?

A common question we get is why we use XPEL window tint products?  Watch this short video of Dr. Amir Khoshnevis, a Doctor of Optometry, and why he recommends XPEL films:

• Protect against the danger of UV rays to the skin and eyes
• A safe environment in your home and while driving in your vehicle
• Even though truck and SUV back windows look “tinted” from the manufacturer, they have little to no UV protection nor IR heat rejection properties
• XPEL window films help protect you and your loved ones in a car, at your home or at work
• Only film on the market rated SPF 1,000
