Fantastic experience with Sun Stoppers in Mt. Pleasant. These guys really know what they are doing! I brought my 2015 Porsche Macan S for PPF replacement on the bumper and hood due to damage from minor contact with another vehicle. They partnered with Tier 1 Detailing next door to ensure the car was cleaned, polished and prepped properly for installation. The PPF was installed perfectly and I could not believe that it was almost unnoticeable compared to the original PPF I had on the car. I was stunned to get my car back looking like it came off of a showroom floor thanks to the combination of a perfect install and excellent detailing by Tier 1.

These guys are on their A+++Game. Ask for Wes. They've tinted all our vehicles for 9 years now and they're proud to stand behind their work.Under their same roof is Tier 1 Detailing. The owner Rob is an award winning detailer in the discipline of ceramic coating. They mostly work by appointment only which is what I prefer anyway. They recently fixed a ceramic job that another outfit in town royally messed up (high spots) on a 2020 Audi Q8 Prestige. The final product came out looking absolutely perfect. They also stand behind their work and are straight shooters when it comes to their profession.

After calling around several shops and receiving not the best customer service I was able to get in touch with Ron over at Sun Stoppers Charleston. 2022 update: I came back again to get my new car tinted. Fantastic customer service and they did 2 windows in about 10-15 minutes. The tint really does keep the sun and heat out. It's an immense, noticeable difference.Ron Ellis and his son/team were so accommodating for what I needed to get done on my car and went above and beyond what I expected. The tint on my windows from a previous owner was horrendous and they were able to take that off and replace it with tint that looks like it was always on there in just a day. They were also extremely accommodating with my pick-up schedule for the car. The dogs in the office were also a huge bonus! It was also a fantastic price for what I had done.

I just had my Mazda Miata tinted here. They were very knowledgeable and fully willing to answer all of my questions.I timed it and amazingly from the time they pulled the car in, it only took them 41 minutes to tint the whole car, including the large curved rear window on the hardtop.Overall the job was quick, looks great and has no dust or gaps, and I had all my questions answered so that I knew exactly what I wanted. I'm very happy with the experience and have already recommended them to friends.

The owners and the Technicians explained to me everything about the differents kind of heating protection as well the SC darkness law , allow cars to tint just the laterals and back windows ;but doesn't allow the windshield ,means it can't be tinted ,but Sun Stoppers offer me a clear product over 99.9% UV radiation protection like all their products and also heat protection.The pricing was slightly cheaper for a best product than average business offered, but something really important when you decided to sale your car ,is The longlife warranty is transferable to the new owner.I visited 5 others places and they are the only ones who that it.The average time for the job is no less than 3 hours depending on the size and number of windows of your vehicle.
