Sun Stoppers in Wilmington PPF’d the front of my new car, tinted the windows and ceramic coated the entire car. I’m a very meticulous person when it involves my vehicles so I was a little apprehensive at first in getting the work performed. But Jason made the entire process stress free. He throughly explained what product he uses, how the work was going to be performed and how long it would take. Well I picked up the car today and needless to say, I’m extremely satisfied. The work is flawless and now the car should be much easier to keep clean and more resistant to paint chipping. Great job Jason! This shop is very highly recommended!

Jason is amazing! Very professional. He gives great advice on options but won’t push you into doing anything you don’t want. I have an electric SUV and he did such a superb job I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do future work. He did XPEL stealth to perfection and also added appropriate window tint to decrease sun exposure and heat in the hot months. Can’t say enough good things about his shop but if you need PPF (way better than vinyl) or window tint do not go anywhere else except SunStoppers Wilmington!

Jason is probably the hardest working man I’ve ever met. I have seen him working on my car on the weekends and past 9pm on the weekday for tint, PPF and ceramic coating. Not only does he have the best price around, he worked around the clock to take care of me and coordinated with my Teslas keys not working, causing extra work to him, and still took the job. I cannot say enough good things about the man personally. For the quality of work, it was pretty much perfect! Best prices in town and great quality work, to top it off, he also went out of the way to do extra work at no cost. They are busy for a reason, they’re the best around in terms of quality, price and customer service and the reason why I chose to drive 3 hours round trip to get work done by them and will continue to go back whenever I need to get a car worked on.

I recently had my car tinted by Jason at Sun Stoppers, and I was so impressed with their service that I wanted to write a review. I was originally using window shades to block the sun, but I was always having to adjust them, and they weren't very effective.When I went to Sun Stoppers, Jason noticed that I was using window shades and suggested that I get a ceramic tint instead. He explained that ceramic tint would block the sun's heat and UV rays, and it would also be more durable than window shades.I decided to go with the ceramic tint, and I'm so glad I did. The tint has made a huge difference in my car. It's much cooler in the summer, and the UV rays are blocked, so my car's interior is protected from fading. I don't have to hassle with putting the widow shades up when leaving my car for longer periods of time.The installation process was quick and easy, and the tint looks great. I would definitely recommend Sun Stoppers to anyone who is looking for window tint. They are professional, knowledgeable, and their prices are very reasonable.

They spared no time on making sure the prep work on my windshield was thorough. Price was on par with the level or work I watched being performed. Answered all questions I had and even took the time to explain the benefits of ceramic coating over the trucks paint surfaces. Welcome to Sun Stoppers in Wilmington, NC

Whether it’s window tinting, paint protection film, or ceramic coating, Sun Stoppers Wilmington has you covered! Most of our customers call or text to schedule an appointment, but walk-ins are more than welcome too. We are one of the few shops that offer premium products at a fair price. Not only are our products backed nationally, we believe in them so much we put them on our own personal vehicles.

It takes 2 hours to tint all the sides and back glass on a standard 4 door car. In order to not rush the quality of install, we encourage our customers to drop their vehicles off. However, we enjoy building new relationships and don’t mind you spending time with us at the shop while you wait on your vehicle. There is a comfortable waiting room available, if needed.

Who is Jason, owner of Sun Stoppers Wilmington?

Jason was born in upstate New York but has lived in Charlotte, NC the majority of his life. His family owns race cars, so Jason has been around them his entire life. Jason’s first Nascar race was in 1989, and it was then that he decided he wanted to work on cars. In 1994, Jason moved to Charlotte, NC to pursue his dream. He worked in Nascar for over 25 years and was part of Tony Stewart’s winning team in 2011. Wanting to spend more time with his family, Jason decided that chapter of his life was over. He now owns his very own Sun Stoppers right here in Wilmington, NC.
