Huntersville is located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and has a population of around 59,000 people. The town covers an area of 31.2 square miles just 12 miles north of Charlotte, the largest city in the state. The town of Huntersville serves as the northernmost suburb in the Charlotte metro area.
