I am not one to write reviews but when a job is done so well and you are taken care of like royalty, I had to comment about this great company. I bought a new car, nothing fancy but I liked the color. I of course wanted to tint it right away but I learned this company also does ceramic coating for your paint at a reasonable price. I couldn’t believe how different and shiny my car looks like. I never have to wax it, it always feels like something is going to slide off of it because it has that wax affect always on it. They even did my tires and headlights for free.I was amazed at the service, Justin, who took care of me, let me know the process and told me how to take care of the car. He explained how there is a 4 year warranty and in the paperwork he gave me, there are 4 dates where I take it in every 4 years and he does the ceramic again. I really liked the sticker reminded you not to open the windows since it was tinted. I kept that on for a week just because it looked cool. Even though my car was brand new, he cleaned the whole inside of the car and put matts on it so nothing gets dirty. As for the tint, he has 3 different kinds and demonstrated with a heat lamp what each tint will feel like. I got the best one that blocks out 98% of UV rays and you can definitely not feel the heat on your hand as opposed to the lowest tint. I couldn’t be more happy with my choice of selecting Sun Stoppers in Concord off of 29. Thank you very much guys

These guys kill it every time! They’ve done all my vehicles and do an outstanding job every time! The protection ony vehicle was damaged in two areas. I found them on the internet and visited the establishment. I was met by a very pleasant young woman who immediately addressed my issues. I visited the website and Jessica from the Concord location texted me and I got a quote and an appointment for the next day. I got to my appointment on time and Jessica went over everything and showed me the different tints. I chose the legal 35% tint with 88% heat rejection ceramic tint on 5 windows on my Chrysler 300. After market tint on your vehicle some NC State inspection places will charge you an extra $10 bucks just for having tint. Jessica took my info and keys and told me it would take about an hour. I asked her where was the closest place to get something to eat she recommended Punchy's and also offered me the use of their loner car. Nice! I told her thanks but I need to get some steps in for the day and it was so nice outside, so I walked down to Punchy's to get a bite to eat, before I could completely finish my lunch the tech called me to tell me my car was done. It took only about 25-30 mins. Nice! When I walked back I saw my car in front of the store so I took pics, it looked great! They did an awesome job! Jessica informed me not to roll down the windows for 2 days and allow 1 week for the bubbles to disappear and for the tint to completely cure. They put special tape over the driver side window switch just in case you forget and try to put your windows down. If you have a window switch cancel button for the other windows on the driver switch make sure you turn it on to prevent your passengers from putting the windows down. I asked Jessica could I have more tape to put on the other 3 window switches and she was more than happy to give it to me. Jessica told me to please give her a call next week and give her an update on the tint. It was such a joy to meet and do business with Jessica we had a good time chatting with each other. After a week I will update if I have any issues or not. I recommend this Business. Check out my pics and judge for yourself.

Enough staff to get appointments in a reasonable time, good options but some may need to be ordered, and the film is a good quality that should protect my interior. Anyone with a classic vehicles knows the damage of UV rays.

The window tinting technician checked me in their system and immediately explained to me & showed me the various window tint options along with the price. To be able to feel the heat reception with each type tint helped me make a knowledgeable and informed decision. The service was complete in about 30 minutes. The waiting area was nice and clean and I was in there by myself therefore there were no issues regarding social distancing, etc. After the install, I was on my way snd back to work. I would recommend Sun Stoppers Concord to anyone looking for quality window tinting.

60% satisfied with the tint/film. The color and heat/UV protection seems accurate. However, the film on the side windows is placed too low and the film on the windshield is slightly crooked and has air bubbles on the bottom edge (driver side).I'll most likely be returning to have the imperfections corrected.Update (7/31/21)Jessica reached out to me and set up an appointment to fix the imperfections from the original job that was done. We're all human, and sometimes we make mistakes in our work. Taking ownership of those mistakes and putting in the effort to correct them is what matters.She did an excellent job in redoing the tint on the front driver and passenger windows, as well as fixing the film on the windshield. I'm very satisfied with the work, as well as the professionalism of Jessica and her staff. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality tint and service.

What a great team they have here. They did a fabulous job on all my windows on my SUV. They even tinted my entire windshield! My dogs love the darker interior and no longer have to squint from the sun. The dashboard stays much cooler now and the car a/c doesn't have to work so hard. They do a good job and they’re very quick. I just don’t understand their pricing. $200 seems like a lot for a two seat convertible and it may be that labor costs are what gets you but for an hour job on a small car with their lowest quality of tint, I’d expect to pay a little less. You used to be able to get groupons or other deals online and maybe that’s changed because of times we are living in, I don’t know. If you are going for looks and not heat refraction you may want to go somewhere else. They have good products to keep the heat out, but you’ll pay much more than $200.

I brought my new Mustang in to get the headlights and side mirrors wrapped with protective film and some vinyl stripes from Stripe Source put on. I could not believe how GREAT the car looked. They did a fantastic job... you could not tell there was protective film on the headlights and mirrors. The stripes looked like they came from the factory. I didn't have to wait when I got there and they finished the work when promised. They did such a great job at a reasonable price that I'm planning on getting the windows tinted with the Heat Control film very soon. I will recommend Sun Stoppers to everyone I know. Thanks!

This location is wonderful! I made an appointment with the one in Charlotte but the Concord had an open slot and was able to see me. I appreciate how fast it took for all windows to be completed on my 4runner. It was only an hour so I waiting. Free WiFi is a huge plus since I work remotely. The staff is really awesome.Getting ceramic tint is a great investment. Driving home I noticed the heat from the sun only coming from my windshield since its not tinted. Thank you!

Who is Brent, Owner of Sun Stoppers Jacksonville?

Brent is originally from Florida and has a background in graphics. Over a period of 9 years, he travelled to 13 different states putting on car show events and working with vehicles in the drifting circuit. Once that chapter of his life was complete, Brent decided to come back to Florida to start his own business. Since then, his business has continued to grow, and he hasn’t looked back since.

“I invest in my staff and make sure everyone is well trained. For consistency purposes, I personally train each and every tinter myself. No matter their skill level coming in, we start with the basics and work our way up to the more advanced processes. As a tinter, no two days are ever alike. It’s enjoyable to see what each day will bring.”
