According to several studies, skin cancer occurs predominately on the left side (aka driving side) of our bodies. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends XPEL PRIME XR & XR Plus Window Tint as an effective protectant from harmful UV rays.
Window tinting shades are measured by VLT (Visible Light Transmission). It is the percentage of light that passes through your window tint. We install any kind of window shade within the legal limit of the state of Texas.
XPEL PRIME XR & XR Plus contains ceramic particles that filter out the sun’s infrared radiation — making them more effective than traditional metallized or dyed films.
Our ceramic particle technology blocks the vast majority of the sun’s heat-causing infrared radiation — keeping your interior cool and improving fuel efficiency.
Our nano-ceramic particle technology does not interfere with radio, cellular, and Bluetooth signals like traditional metallized films.
XPEL PRIME XR & XR Plus contains ceramic particles that filter out the sun’s infrared radiation — making them more effective than traditional metallized or dyed films.
Utilizing a nano-ceramic construction, PRIME XR Ceramic Film maintains the same flawless appearance and clarity for multiple years and blocks up to 88% of infrared heat.
Rejecting infrared heat thanks to a multi-layer nanoparticle technology, PRIME XR PLUS automotive window tint combines a cool look with extreme performance.
When protection from heat isn’t as big a priority, XPEL PRIME CS is an ideal choice. Like XPEL PRIME XR, it blocks 99% of the sun’s damaging UV rays, and it provides a lifetime of color-stable, glare-blocking performance. It will never fade, crack, peel or turn purple.

Most cars come from the factory with tinted glass (different from window film that is applied when you want to tint your windows after you buy the vehicle). The typical visual light transmission (VLT) of factory glass is 15-26%.
There are two main considerations when cleaning tinted windows
Standard tint films generally last around 5 years. The XPEL window tint that we use at Sun Stoppers usually lasts at least 10 years, and often longer if properly maintained.
Texas has different tinting rules depending on the window location, the vehicle, and the tint reflection. We follow all tinting rules, and you can learn more about Texas tint laws here.

If you live in River Oaks, TX, you are familiar with the attractions surrounding the area, as well as the harsh Texan sun. Some of those attractions include:
And of course all the attractions of the nearby cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, and the outdoor adventures you can find in the surrounding countryside, such as horseback riding, fishing, hiking, and more.
River Oaks is a city in Tarrant County, TX, situated on the western side of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area.
The city’s roots go back to the 1800s, when James Ventioner built a log cabin in the vicinity. The community grew from there, and soon Ventioner donated some of the land on his farm for a school. In 1941 voters unanimously moved that the town should become incorporated. They gained a city charter and named their city River Oaks. They named it after West Fork Trinity River, which borders the town, and the beautiful oak trees in the area.
Today, River Oaks covers a little over 2 square miles of land, and is home to almost 7,500 people.
We hope River Oaks continues to grow for years to come!

John Sanchez:
“Great customer service and knowledge of their products. They offered three types of film and let me pick the one I wanted without feeling pressured. I will always go back.”
Elisha Wrobel:
“We moved here almost 9 years ago & was unable to get valid registration due to my windows being too dark, not knowing anything in the area, I did a quick google search & found Sunray Tint. I initially chose them because it is close to our house, but I am so glad we did! We have brought 3 vehicles here to have our windows tinted & when we decide to do the other one, we will be back again. Brianna is wonderful & explain in thorough detail about the different tint options & what each will offer. She answered all our questions & even took the time to show us her personal car so my 8 & 10 year old kids would see what their windows would look like looking out from the inside, since theirs would be a bit darker due to Ford & their privacy windows already tinted on the vehicle. Each option was discussed in detail & We did not feel pressured to go with the highest option (with 98% heat protection) but we are very happy we did! Scheduling was easy & I was able to call & get a next day appointment. Their location is easy to find & easy to get to, right there on the main hwy (377) . I was able to drop off our SUV, but if you need to wait, their shop is set up for just that with massaging chairs, TV & snacks to keep you comfortable while you wait. My husband saw a small bubble & spot on the back window that did not fully stick down, it was brought to their attention. I am sorry I did not get the name of the person who worked on our Expedition, but when the issue was shown to him, he quickly took the truck to the workshop & fixed the issue within minutes. I absolutely recommend using them & we will continue to bring our vehicles to them.”
